Terms and Conditions

Booking a course- Individual

All attendees must be 18 years and over to attend the courses offered on this website.

If you book a place, on one of the virtual courses offered on the web site, you will receive an email to confirm the details of your courses and confirmation of payment received. These payments are made and processed via Paypal.

Some training material may be emailed, in advance of the session. Any power point presentations will be emailed after the session.

The prices of the courses available are displayed on the website at the time you book a place. All prices are displayed are inclusive of VAT. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but once booked that is the agreed price.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel any booking you have made, within 14 days of placing the order, by contacting me at dawn@safeguardingadultstraining.co.uk, telephone 07985373680. You will receive a refund with 14 days of your cancellation request.

If you are unhappy with the training provided, please contact me on the above email/ telephone number so I can work with you to put things right. If you are still unhappy then a refund request will be considered.

Organisations- Booking courses/ training.

The training and courses available can be delivered virtually or face to face (COVID 19 regulations permitting/ health and safety permitting)

If the training is delivered face to face, the training venue will be provided by the organisation requesting the training and mutually acceptable to both parties. The venue should have appropriate accessibility and facilities for all attendees in line with the Equality Act 2010. The trainer will provide all necessary training equipment (power point projector, laptop, cables) unless the agreed venue has a suitable power point projector etc which must meet PAT testing regulations. All equipment used by the trainer will be PAT tested.

Id the session is delivered virtually, any power point presentation will be emailed after the session. If the training is delivered face to face, all training material will be provided by the trainer (unless agreed otherwise with the contracting organisation).

Fees

The contracting organisation will be invoiced after the training session, with a 30-day payment period agreed. If additional costs are incurred because of a request to redesign a course or design a new specific course, then this will be discussed and agreed in advance and any invoice will reflect these agreed changes.

Cancellation

By the Contracting organisation. If the contracting organisation needs to cancel the course, then there will be no charge if any photocopying undertaken can be used for another course. If this is not possible then a charge will be made for any photocopying costs incurred in preparation for the course.

By the trainer- The trainer will always attempt to fulfil the training commitment. However, in the event that the trainer is unable to deliver the session, then the session can be re arranged at a mutually convenient time.

Monitoring and Evaluation

If your organisation has specific training feedback forms, then these can be incorporated at the end of the session. Alternatively, feedback is captured, by the trainer, at the end of each session and these can be shared with the contracting organisation.

Confidentiality

Contracting information will remain confidential. Feedback forms will not contain any personal or identifiable information, unless it is one provided by the contracting organisation and these will not be retained or processed by the trainer.

If the trainer has any reason to be concerned about the safety or welfare of an adult or child, then these concerns will be referred to the appropriate safeguarding point of contact within the local authority.
