Designated Safeguarding Adult Lead (Level 3)
(3 Hours/ half day)
This course is designed for anyone who is responsible for receiving concerns, advising staff, decision making and sharing information. The course will explore this role and provide the skills and confidence to identify safeguarding incidents and raise concerns. The course will cover:
- Roles and responsibilities of the Designated Safeguarding Adult Lead.
- The Care Act 2014 (Chapter 14) Statutory Criteria for Decision Making
- Raising a safeguarding concern
- Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP)
- Information sharing
- Safeguarding processes and outcomes
